IPL 2010 Kings XI Punjab vs. Royal Challengers Bangalore (Match 7) result.

After winning the toss for the 7th match of the IPL season 3, Kumar Sangakkara made the decision to bat first against Royal Challengers Bangalore. With some brilliant batting display by Robin Uthappa and Jacques Kallis, Royal Challengers Bangalore won the match by 8 wickets.

Kings XI Punjab openers Manvinder Bisla and Ravi Bopara gave a wonderful base to a gigantic score. These two put together 129 runs for the opening wicket. Bopara scored a brilliant 77 from just 50 balls and Bisla scored a blistering 75 of just 51 balls. After the loss of their wickets Jayawardana continued the momentum and helped to post a mammoth total of 203 for the loss of 3 wickets. This was a huge target for Royal Challengers Bangalore.

The chase started with some good batting display by Manish Pandey and acques Kallis which helped Royal Challengers Bangalore to take 74 runs in 8.1 overs with the loss of a single wicket. Kallis hit runs all around the park and scored 89 runs of just 57 balls. Robin Uthappa too played blistering support act. He scored 51 runs of just 20 balls. Finally, they reached the target in just 18.5 overs and marked their first victory in the third season of IPL.
