IPL 2010 Mumbai Indians vs. Royal Challengers Bangalore (Match 14) result.
Mumbai Indians didn’t have the start they really wanted. Sanath Jayasuriya fell early to Dale Steyn. Mumbai Indians lost wickets at regular intervals. At the end of 10 overs Mumbai scored 73 runs with the loss of 3 wickets. Mumbai still had hope as Sachin was still at the crease. But one Vinay Kumar over had turned the game down for Mumbai Indians. He took 3 wickets at the end of his spell by giving just 25 runs. Dale Steyn was also impressive. He took 3 wickets for 36 runs. Altogether, Mumbai collapsed. Some brilliant batting show by Zaheer Khan helped them to post 151 runs and set a good target to defend.
But there was no one stopping Kallis from his good form. He along with Manish Pandey scored 85 runs for the first wicket and that too at a quick time. Manish fell to Harbhajan when he was at 40. Thereafter, it was easy for Royal Challengers with Kallis still at the crease. He scored runs all around the park and scored 66 runs of 55 balls with 10 boundaries in them. Royal Challengers Bangalore easily achieved the score with the loss of just 3 wickets and with 5 balls to spare. Kallis received the Man of the Match award for his unbeaten 66 which guided Bangalore to victory. Now, Bangalore is at the top of the table with 6 points under their belt in this season of IPL.
