Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Rajasthan Royals in their third match of this season of IPL by 10 wickets. This is the second-most comprehensive victory in terms of balls left in the match. Royal Challengers completed the match within 10 overs. With this win Bangalore reached the second spot in IPL season 3 points table.
Bangalore boys bowled really well to restrict Rajasthan Royals for a mere total of 92 runs. Praveen Kumar got the first hat-trick in the IPL 2010. Bangalore bowlers tried to ball straight as much as possible. There was nothing to cheer for Rajasthan in this match. They were completely over played by Bangalore. Yousuf was there only hope. But Bangalore bowlers tried to ball short pitched deliveries to him and he found it difficult. Rajasthan was always lagging behind in the match. Kumble bowled exceptionally well and gave only just 9 runs in his 4 overs and took 3 wickets. And finally Rajastan put on a target which can be easily attained in any format of the game.
Manish Pandey and Jacques Kallis were the openers for Royal Challengers Bangalore. They came out with great confidence and hit runs all around the park. Royals tasted defeat when Morne Morkel gave away 20 runs in his first over. Manish Pandey and Jacques Kallis eased to the victory lane. Manish Pandey scored 42 runs and Jacques Kallis got 44 runs under his belt and he still holds the orange cap and purple cap. In the end, Royal Challengers Bangalore reached the second spot in the points table of IPL 2010.
