IPL 2010 Mumbai Indians vs. Kings XI Punjab (Match 41) result

Kings XI Punjab won the 41st match of the IPL 2010 by defeating Mumbai Indians by six wickets. This is just the third loss for Mumbai Indians and only the third win for Kings XI Punjab in this edition of IPL. Mumbai did not show what they had done so far. They proved that Sachin is their key player and once he got out their batting line just collapsed. Kumar Sangakkara was declared as the Man of the Match for his brilliant batting performance and captaincy.

After winning the toss Mumbai opted to bat first. They didn’t have the start they really thought. Shikhar Dhawan fell to Irfan Pathan on the first over of the match. Ambatti Rayudu was promoted up to the third position and hit the ball around the park without any fear. He scored a quick 33 off just 18 balls. Sachin was slow at other end.
